| Ahh yes, the 1970's, I don't remember them at all. But I love this song, I love the low slung, Black Sabbath worthy guitar riff. Right out of the gate this song is a hit. By the way, that little Ö character is called an Umlaut. They added it "because of the Wagnerian aspect of Metal." From a linguistic viewpoint, this might instead be regarded as a diaeresis. Many bands have since imitated BOCs Umlaut in their own names. Motörhead, Mötley Crüe, Queensrÿche, and Spinal Tap. I thing it is just another example of BOC being ridiculous. |
