This skit featured many on the SNL cast (including Will Ferrell)
pretending to be BOC during a recording session for The Reaper.
Also, Christopher Walken played the recording artist 'Bruce Dickenson'
In case you were ever wondering, America's obsession with Chris Walken, Will Ferrell, and Cowbells all come from this video.
More recently, this song was featured in both Guitar Hero and Rock Band
(It was such a good song, they had to use it twice)

Ahh yes, the 1970's, I don't remember them at all. But I love this song, I love the low slung, Black Sabbath worthy guitar riff. Right out of the gate this song is a hit. By the way, that little Ö character is called an Umlaut. They added it "because of the Wagnerian aspect of Metal." From a linguistic viewpoint, this might instead be regarded as a diaeresis. Many bands have since imitated BOCs Umlaut in their own names. Motörhead, Mötley Crüe, Queensrÿche, and Spinal Tap. I thing it is just another example of BOC being ridiculous.
